the arabic poetry contest presented by abu dhabi culture & heritage attracts more than 18 million television viewers across the arab world every week. in 16 shows which are broadcasted live from the al raha theatre in abu dhabi, 48 contestants compete against each other to win the prize money of 5 million dirhams. |
the brand new stage set-up for the fourth season features a suspended, 40m long, curved led wall. three monkeys provide a turn-key technical solution to utilize the led wall at its native resolution and produce all content for it, including the integration of real-time updated data from sms, audience and web voting, live video feeds, graphics complementing the overall design of the show, mood video clips, pictures and names of the poets as well as animated poem lines which are shown in real-time during each poet’s recital. |
the solution conceived by three monkeys for this led wall is not only cost-effective but also comprises an easy-to-use control application. the control application enables the operator to react to the director’s requests during the live show flexibly and to include real-time updated data from external sources such as sms, audience and web voting. |
