the 2009 du marketing campaigns were supported by promotion booths situated in several malls throughout the uae offering interactive multimedia games and competitions. three monkeys developed interactive games featuring green screen photography, life dubbing and a dj scratching contest. all games included a direct connection to du’s crm tools. |

du smart people promotion booths presented two interactive multimedia applications programmed and designed by three monkeys. |

a green screen application allowed visitors to take their photograph and compose it into an existing picture of shahrukh khan. this new photo showing the visitor together with shahrukh khan was printed and presented to the visitor as a du branded giveaway. the application running in the background was fully automated and allowed the promoters to position the visitor’s picture according to their own wishes and ideas. |
the second application enabled du customers to dub various scenes from the famous arabian cartoon series freej live with their own voice. visitors could choose from a variety of freej clips and watch them before they were asked to newly record the voices of the clip in the manner of a voice actor. thereafter they were amused by watching the freej scenes with their own voice. the control of this application was realized with a fully automated touch screen interface. |

a competition called the music challenge accompanied the launch of the more talk more music package from du. visitors were asked to scratch on real dj turntables and by doing so recording their own unique ringtone. the result was automatically sent to the visitors email account and published on www.moretalkmoremusic.ae. on this internet page visitors were asked to rate the music clips and weekly as well as over all winners have been ascertained. |
the data collection as well as the recording control and the data transfers were realized by using an interactive touch screen control. as an additional feature a 3d visualization of the promotion mascot was shown on a plasma screen behind the dj booth. the mascot was dancing according to the rhythms the visitors mixed. |
