three monkeys developed a unique interactive concept exclusively for the launch of the new audi a8 |
|
three monkeys were hired to develop an interactive concept for the launch of the new audi a8 l that would reflect the new model's unique features. |
interactive x-ray installation
using the car and its characteristics, also called hotspots, as the starting point, three monkeys and its german partner mediascreen created a screen installation, which x-rayed the a8 l thanks to a system mounted on rails. controlled by the user, the plasma screen moved back and forth on the rails, scanning the entire length of the car to reveal 14 of its key features – from the interior design, led headlights to the mmi, bang&olufsen sound system and safety assistants, three monkeys was able to creatively highlight the audi a8 l’s unique selling points. |
three monkeys also developed a dedicated vip area accessible only via an rfid terminal. the vip-only area enabled audi to gather useful information for their customer relationship management system. |
|
interactive presentation in stereoscopic 3d
for the vip area three monkeys developed an interactive presentation featuring stereoscopic 3d technology for more detailed information about the car. thanks to the interactive application, visitors were able to select each of the car’s 14 highlights and browse through a selection of interactive content that included dozends of image galleries, videos and 3d animations. |
touchtables and customer relationship management (crm) data collection
regular visitors on the stand could explore the car's features on several 32" lcd touch tables on the stand - with pictures, clips, information and specially created quizzes and games. |
the audi a8 launch was rolled out in saudi arabia, kuwait, bahrain and the uae in december 2010. in dubai, the a8 l was on display at the dubai mall where all multimedia installations were solely dedicated to the new car. |
